itz a funny thing, this counter-productive, anti-progressive diversion
threatening subversion of my life plan
the lethargy is all but consuming, facebook finding work for my 'idle' hands
facing away from the books neatly stacked
i turn my back as they plead my need to crack them open
the exam's in but a few hours but is my anxiety showin?
no...cuz i'm on facebook writing this 'reachout'
trying to reach out to my brothers and sisters in this struggle to revise
as we struggle for our lives, for our futures..
but we can't seem to win, truth is..we LIKE being facebook users
fiends addicted to friend lists
tomorrow itz "let's create a group to see how we can end this"
deception of self is the deepest deception of all
but then that mentality is deemed acceptance of our fate
so we procrastinate...
like we dont have the balls to fight for our freedom from facebook
but how do u free a willing addict?
u moan but u know therz no other way u'd have it

I'm still trying to find my feet with this audio blogging thing. I'm very much a writer, not so much a talker, but I'm branching out, stepping out of my comfort zone.

However, the law of baby steps dictates that I do a few scripted pieces first, like this one, a short piece I wrote a couple of years back, I titled it poetic justice

its a massacre of poetic ambassadors
some call us masochists, holding ourselves back
"it's just our state of mind cuz we stays on our grind
keep trying to find a better way to do this thing called humanity"
but there's widespread insanity on the earth's very face
causing disillusionment, an illusion of despair
where nothing can be done here..
my own mind is my judge, jury and executioner
my execution of this life has been injustice
so it's justified for me to crucify me
just as if i were multiple personalities
in this crazy humanity...the vanity...it's my own insanity
